The iMCU W7100A is an one chip solution which integrates an 8051 compatible microcontroller, 64 KB SRAM and hardwired TCP/IP core for high performance and easy development. The TCP/IP core is a market proven hardwired TCP/IP stack with an integrated Ethernet MAC & PHY. The stack supports TCP, UDP, IPv4, ICMP, ARP, IGMP and PPPoE which has been used in various applications for years.
An 32KByte Data Buffer is also integrated. This one chip solution provides an efficient network-solution for energy management with electric meters, photo-voltaic systems and with any sensor or actuator application.

The W7100A (100 Pin Package) is 100% compatible with W7100. W7100A is the upgraded chip by adding the functions of Memory Lock, Power Down mode and GPIO Pull-Up/Down control. For the tiny embedded device, 64QFN package type is supported.
