RF-Transmitter for ISM Band

Melexis' FSK/ASK transmitter are now in a very small 3x3 mm dual QFN (Quad flat no leads) package available. Only one crystal with a pulling capacity and an antenna matching circuit are needed as external components. Qualified for automotive applications (-40°C - 125°C), the part is particular designed for the ISM (Industrial-Scientific-Medical) licence-free wave-bands 315MHz, 433MHz and 868/915MHz. The programmable HF-transmision power can be customized between -12 and +10 dBm. The supply voltage for the TH720x5 family ICs ranges from 1.9V to 5.5V. The power consumption depends on the adjusted frequenzy and output power and ranges between 3.5 and 14mA and 0.2nA in stand-by mode. These highly integrated circuits enable small powerful PLL transmitter at low costs.
Suitable receiver ICs are also available.
