Ultra Low-Power LTE Cat.1 Modem
The ZETA-NLP-LTE1 (EU) is a cutting edge, extremely low power industrial modem. It will connect equipment to the European LTE Cat 1 network which is 100% compatible with the existing LTE infrastructure. The modem also provides fallback connectivity to the existing European 3G / UMTS and 2G / GSM cellular networks. The modem is able to operate in an extremely low power state which makes it ideal for use in industrial IoT applications today and for long term future developments.
The unique feature of the ZETA-NLP-LTE1 (EU) allows it to run in an ultra low power state due to its intelligent power saving design. Additionally the range offers interface options including legacy RS232 for connection to existing equipment and a high speed USB interface.
The powerful C development environment reduces redundancy and lowers system component costs, allowing developers to maximise the power of their application directly on the device and eliminating the requirement for an external microcontroller. As a result the ZETA-NLP-LTE1 (EU) lends itself to rapid proof-of-concept developments with minimal investment, providing fast time to market and maximum scalability.

linkCONNECT - Intelligent Management Solution
Siretta industrial managed modem solutions are intelligent modems which have been designed to connect remote equipment over a TCP/IP connection to a central location. Very little knowledge is required to setup the modem and configure the Siretta linkCONNECT solution. The unit can be setup to operate out-of-the-box and configured remotely via SMS once in the field or alternatively it can be pre-configured before deployment via a serial configuration tool.
The configuration of the managed modem solutions is controlled by the user simply using command SMS messages sent from a standard mobile phone. Alternatively when configuring large volumes of units there is a configuration tool which configures the unit over RS232 serial and can be replicated very quickly to aid the production programming. The configuration can be saved to a ‘.gtc’ file which can be deployed and re-used in multiple locations and production environments.
- Automatic network detection and setup
- Automatic APN setup (standard on UK networks)
