New SATA III Crypto SSD with full hardware encryption
Cactus Technologies' new Crypto SSD series 240SE is FIPS 140-2 level 2 and 3 compliant as well as compliant to NSA NIAP Data-At-Rest (DAR) Capability Profile for HW Full Drive Encryption (HWFDE) including both Host Authorization Acquisition (AA) software and Encryption Engine (EE) components. Intended for Financial, Government, Health, Defense, Energy and other industries where data protection is critical. With the available capacities of 512GB and 1TB and several rugged connector options the Crypto SSD series 240SE is reliable in even the highest of shock and vibration environments
M.2 Series 240S
The well known M.2 series 240S is now also available as 2242 form factor with a capacity range from 8GB to 256GB in both commercial (0°C to +70°C) and extended temperature range (-40°C to +85°C). For more sophisticated applications where a higher endurance is needed, the products are also available as an OEM Grade pSLC version with an up to six times higher endurance - also in both temperature ranges.
High Capacity SATA III SSD with up to 8TB
With Cactus Technologies’ newest addition to their portfolio, one of the biggest disadvantages of 2-bit per cell technology comes to an end - the lack of capacity. The new Commercial Grade 250SH MLC 2,5” SSD series is available in capacities of 2, 4 and 8 Terabyte. The 2TB and 4TB capacities are also available in an extended temperature version ranging from –40°C to +85°C. Additionally it will be possible to get an OEM Grade pSLC version with an up to six times higher endurance in capacities of 2TB and 4TB. These will only be available in the extended temperature range of –40°C to +85°C.
CFast Series 240S with write protection
For that extra bit of security, both the CFast MLC series 240S and the pSLC series 245S are now available as versions with a mechanical write protection switch to prevent an accidental overwrite of the contained data. Like their standard relatives, the series 240S is available in capacities from 8GB to 128GB and the series 245S from 4GB to 64GB. As usual, both series are available in commercial temperature range (0°C to +70°C) and extended temperature range (-40°C to +85°C).
