Siretta TANGO Through-Hole Antennas
Through-hole antennas (also known as “feedthrough antennas”) are special designs in which the antenna is mounted through a hole in a surface, such as the roof of a vehicle or aircraft. This design offers several technical and practical advantages that make it particularly suitable for demanding environments.
Antennas for Mounting Through Enclosures and Panels
A key advantage is their mechanical stability. Firmly screwed or fastened within the structure, the antenna is particularly resistant to shocks, vibrations, and weather influences. This makes it ideal for mobile applications such as vehicles, trains, or ships, where high loads occur.
Finally, through-hole antennas are often modular in design. This means that different antenna elements (e.g., GPS, LTE, Wi-Fi) can be combined in a single housing without compromising performance or stability.
Summary
Overall, through-hole antennas offer a robust, reliable, and powerful solution for professional applications where permanent installation, high signal quality, and durability are important.
