Dynamic RAM (DRAM)

Dynamic RAM (DRAM) is a fundamental component in almost all electronic devices beyond passive parts. Whether it's used as working memory in consumer or industrial PCs, in servers, or as a buffer in SSDs, DRAM is universally applicable.

Development in this area is constantly progressing. DDR5 DRAM modules and chips are now becoming prevalent in the industrial sector, though many older platforms still utilize DDR3 or DDR4 (and in a few cases, even DDR1 and DDR2).

Meeting Industrial Demands

Industrial applications often face significantly higher demands than those in the consumer or enterprise sectors. These can include requirements for wider temperature ranges or conformal coating. The conditions in industrial applications, such as those found in Industrial Computing, Automation, Automotive, POS, IIoT, or medical devices, are considerably more challenging. With our manufacturer, goodram industrial, you're equipped for the highest requirements in the industrial segment. Continuity through fixed BOMs and high long-term availability are cornerstones of any industrial application. Rigorous testing of all products ensures the necessary quality, allowing goodram industrial to offer a limited lifetime warranty on all its memory modules.

Goodram Industrial's DRAM Offerings

goodram industrial provides DDR1, DDR2, DDR3, DDR4, and DDR5 modules in both UDIMM and SODIMM form factors. Starting with DDR3, ECC variants are also available. Additionally, DDR3 modules come in low-power versions for exceptionally energy-efficient applications where every millivolt counts. In addition to the standard temperature range of 0°C – 85°C (DDR1: 0°C – 70°C), memory modules are available for an extended temperature range of -40°C – 85°C (starting from DDR3). Other temperature ranges and custom adaptations are also available upon request.
