By integrating flash memory and a controller into a single package (typically BGA-153), eMMC has become an ideal, solderable storage solution for numerous platforms in all fields.

Even though faster solutions like UFS are gradually replacing eMMC, especially in the consumer sector (e.g., mobile phones), eMMC remains a very popular choice for providing sufficient storage in a small footprint.

As some major manufacturers (like Samsung) are slowly withdrawing from this area, particularly with lower capacities, we offer goodram’s industrial eMMC solutions, which provide alternatives for industrial and automotive systems, even for smaller capacities starting from 4GB.

Goodram offers industrial eMMCs in various versions. Depending on the application, they are available based on MLC, pSLC (MLC-based), industrial 3D-TLC (gTLC), or pSLC (3D-TLC based). These are offered in the standard temperature range of -25°C to 85°C as well as the industrial range of -40°C to 85°C. Additional temperature ranges (e.g., automotive up to 105°C) are also available upon request.
