Capacity minimum limit
3D-NAND pSLC does not start at 16 GB. Systems that are designed to be 128 MB to 1 GB have unnecessarily much unused storage – with an impact on partitioning, firmware and BIOS.
Qualifications & Certification
Industrial certifications (IEC, DO-160, MIL-STD) must be re-run for new components. New storage technologies require extensive testing and documentation.
