USB to Ethernet Controller
DM9620A and DM9621A USB to 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet controllers are high performance and highly integrated ASICs with embedded SRAM for packet buffering. It enables low cost and affordable Fast Ethernet network connection to desktop, notebook PC, and embedded system using popular USB ports.
They have an USB interface to communicate with USB host controller and are compliant with USB specifications V1.0, V1.1 and V2.0. Implemented is a 10/100Mbps Ethernet LAN function based on IEEE802.3, and IEEE802.3u standards and 100FX Fiber.
Both ICs integrate an on-chip 10/100Mbps Ethernet PHY to simplify system design and provide an optional Reduce media-independent interface (RMII).

DM9620: USB 2.0 to Ethernet Controller
The DM9620 USB to 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet controller is a high performance and highly integrated ASIC with embedded SRAM for packet buffering. It enables low cost and affordable Fast Ethernet network connection to desktop, notebook PC, and embeddedsystem using popular USB ports.
It has an USB interface to communicate with USB host controller and is compliant with USB specification V1.0, V1.1 and V2.0. It implements 10/100Mbps Ethernet LAN function based on IEEE802.3, and IEEE802.3u standards. DM9620 integrates an on-chip 10/100Mbps Ethernet PHY to simplify system design and provides an optional media-independent interface (MII/RMII/Reverse MII).

DM9621A: USB 2.0 to Ethernet Controller

Differences to DM9620A:
DM9620A has more features and modes than DM9621A, e.g. CDC on Linux platform, more GPIOs and industrial temperature range. Basically DM9620A is backward compatible to DM9621A.

DM9620A: USB 2.0 to Ethernet Controller
The USB to Fast Ethernet Controller DM9620A is a high performance and highly integrated ASIC with embedded SRAM for packet buffering. It enables cost-effective Fast Ethernet network connectivity to desktop, notebook PCs and embedded systems over popular USB ports.
Supported are the USB standards V1.0, V1.1 and V2.0 as well as 10 / 100Mbps Fast Ethernet according to IEEE802.3 and IEEE802.3u.
The DM9620A has more functions and modes than it´s little brother DM9621A, e.g. CDC on Linux platforms, more GPIOs and is also available in the extended temperature range. Basically, the DM9620A is backward compatible to DM9621A.
