MAC+PHY Controllers
The single-port embedded ethernet controller chips support SPI/8/16/32-Bit parallel and PCI Bus Interfaces. They integrate a Fast Ethernet MAC+PHY and 4k Dword SRAM in a low lower and high performance process that supports 3.3V with 5V IO tolerance. All controllers are fully compliant to IEEE802.3 and support HP´s Auto MDI-X feature.
DM9000A, DM9010 and DM9102 are based on a power saving analog manufacturing process. DM9000B, DM9010B and DM9102H are more cost-effective due to a digital signal process. They are also available in industrial temperature range and 100% backward compatible to their predecessors.
DM9051 is a low cost Controller with SPI interface for applications that no not need the higher thruput of the parallel interface.
All controllers support generation and validation of TCP/IP and UDP checksum to reduce application controller load. Early TX minimizes the latency of the device.
Drivers for Windows CE, VX Works and Linux are available for quick and easy integration.

DM9051: Single Chip SPI Fast Ethernet NIC Controller
The DM9051 is a fully integrated and cost-effective low pin count single chip Fast Ethernet controller with SPI, a 10/100M PHY and MAC, and 16K-byte SRAM. It is designed with low power and high performance process interface that support 3.3V with 5V IO tolerance.
The PHY of the DM9051 can interface to the UTP3, 4, 5 in 10Base-T and UTP5 in 100Base-TX with HP Auto-MDIX. It is fully compliant with the IEEE 802.3u Spec. Its Auto-Negotiation function will automatically configure the DM9051 to take the maximum advantage of its 10M or 100M abilities.
The DM9051 supports IEEE 802.3az in PHY and MAC to save power consumption when Ethernet is idle. The IEEE 802.3x Full-Duplex flow control and Half-Duplex back-pressure function also supported to avoid Ethernet packet loss with link partner.
The slave SPI is designed to support SPI clock mode 0 and 3 that compatible with the all master SPI interface of CPU. The clock speed can up to 50Mhz to co-operation with most high throughput master SPI.
The SPI burst command format is code-effective to minimize the command overhead in access DM9051(I) internal registers and packet data in memory.

The DM9000A is a fully integrated and cost-effective low pin count single chip Fast controller with a general processor interface,a 10/100M PHY and 16K Byte SRAM.
It is designed with low power and high performance process that support 3.3V with 5V IO tolerance. The DM9000A supports 8-bit and 16-bit data interfaces to internal memory accesses for various processors. The PHY of the DM9000A can interface to the UTP3, 4, 5 in 10Base-T and UTP5 in 100Base-TX with AUTO-MDIX.
It is fully compliant with the IEEE 802.3u Spec. Its auto-negotiation function will automatically configure the DM9000A to take the maximum advantage of its abilities. The DM9000A also supports IEEE 802.3x full- duplex flow control.

DM9000: MAC/PHY Controller with ISA & 8/16/32 Bit Processor Interface
The DM9000 is a fully integrated and cost-effective single chip Fast Ethernet MAC controller with a general processor interface, a 10/100M PHY and 4K Dword SRAM. It is designed with low power and high performance process that support 3.3V with 5V tolerance.
It also provides a MII interface to connect HPNA device or other transceivers that support MII. The DM9000 supports 8-bit, 16-bit and 32-bit uP interfaces to internal memory accesses for different processors.
The PHY of the DM9000 can interface to the UTP3, 4, 5 in 10Base-T and UTP5 in 100Base-TX. It is fully compliant with the IEEE 802.3u Spec. Its auto-negotiation function will automatically configure the DM9000 to take the maximum advantage of its abilities.
The DM9000 also supports IEEE 802.3x full- duplex flow control. Programming the DM9000 is very simple, so user can port the software drivers to any system easily.
